Review & Swatches: Illamasqua Human Fundamentalism second edition!

Image
Illamasqua's Human Fundamentalism collection got some new pieces:  The collection holds four new single shadows: Fledgling (bright green), Hype (Bold yellow), Inception (Rich Violet) and Vapour (Tangerine Orange)) and two lipsticks: Eurydice (Bright pink) and Liable (Rich Scarlett / Orange). Both Hype and Inception were also in the Funtamental palette I reviewed earlier , so I'm not gonna review them again (EXCEPT that the Inception seems to better in the single than in the palette! ) Hype: Inception: Fledgling: I LOOOOOOOVE this. It's B-R-I-G-H-T ! Insanely bright and pigmented, this isn't for the ones who fear colors. Here's swatches, I also included one old Illamasqua shade (Victim) just because it was bright too ;D Then the lipstick, Liable: It's not red. It's REEEEEEEEEEEED!!!!! A bit orange red, really firetruck red. It's again really dry, like all Illamasqua lipsticks, but also it stays on well because of the dryness.  (I look like shit, b...

Review: Lime Crime Airborne Unicorn, Chinchilla & D'Lilac

Image
I've been drooling for Lime Crime's Chinchilla lipstick ever since they released it, and now I finally got it! I also got Airborne Unicorn and D'Lilac for comparison! D'Lilac  -  Airborn Unicorn  -  Chinchilla So, D'Lilac is the lightest of these three, pale lilac. "Boutique crème de lavender for post-modern Marie Antoinettes." Airborn Unicorn is the pinkiest of these three "Medium violet-purple lipstick with a neon note. Hue as mysterious as the animal itself. This color combines lipstick and lipstain for prolonged wear." Chinchilla is grey-toned lilac. "Medium grey with lavender undertones. Part of our LIP NOIR Collection." All of these are opaque and they apply easily. Like many other Lime Crime products, these aren't the most  ordinary colors for everyday use. D'Lilac : Airborne Unicorn: Chinchilla: D'Lilac - Airborne Unicorn - Chinchilla D'Lilac isn't exactly my color, it's too light for my taste. I'm...

Review&Swatches: Lime Crime Carousel Glosses

Image
This is going to be a review of Lime Crime Carousel Gloss lip glosses. This is NOT GONNA BE a review of the company, company's owner(s) or how they handle problems with customers or anything. I'm aware of all the drama, and if you want to know more about it, use google or go to Ana's blog.  I've been really interested to review and swatch these babies since they came out, but couldn't get them in my hands until now. " Carousel Gloss boasts semi-opaque coverage combined with bursts of nebulesque sparkle that comes alive in indoor lighting. Cruelty-free/vegan formula glides on smoothly on bare lips or over your favorite lipstick. Each gloss arrives in a sumptuous purple foil box resembling an antique merry-go-round. " So let's again start with the packaging. The box looks quite big because of the hexagonal shape, but the gloss is tightly secured inside because of the small cardboard piece inside: Each gloss has it's name labeled on the top of the bo...
