Review & Swatches: Illamasqua Human Fundamentalism second edition!

Image
Illamasqua's Human Fundamentalism collection got some new pieces:  The collection holds four new single shadows: Fledgling (bright green), Hype (Bold yellow), Inception (Rich Violet) and Vapour (Tangerine Orange)) and two lipsticks: Eurydice (Bright pink) and Liable (Rich Scarlett / Orange). Both Hype and Inception were also in the Funtamental palette I reviewed earlier , so I'm not gonna review them again (EXCEPT that the Inception seems to better in the single than in the palette! ) Hype: Inception: Fledgling: I LOOOOOOOVE this. It's B-R-I-G-H-T ! Insanely bright and pigmented, this isn't for the ones who fear colors. Here's swatches, I also included one old Illamasqua shade (Victim) just because it was bright too ;D Then the lipstick, Liable: It's not red. It's REEEEEEEEEEEED!!!!! A bit orange red, really firetruck red. It's again really dry, like all Illamasqua lipsticks, but also it stays on well because of the dryness.  (I look like shit, b...

Illamasqua Human Fundamentalism part 3 - Fundamental palette review and swatches

Image
Last but not least piece from the Human Fundamentalism collection, the Fundamental palette: Fundamental palette holds four shadows, 2 powder shadows, one cream shadow and one liquid metal shadow: Swatches:   I would love to say that this is amazing palette, there's a flaw. It's called Inception. The color is pretty, but the color pay-off isn't. Hype is pigmented and bright, Bedaup is as great as all the other Cream Pigments, and Surge is super pretty and intense silver, but I just couldn't get really color out from it. Fun fact: Hype is exact dupe of Sugarpill Buttercupcake: The upper one is Buttercupcake, lower is Hype. Here's two look I made based to Illamasqua's promolook:    And my dear friend agreed to be my model for redo: Sorry this was a crappy review :P I promise my Lime Crime Carousel Gloss review will be better! EDIT: As a bonus, I share my The Big Bang Theory fan art I did:

Illamasqua Human Fundamentalism part 2 - Scribe & Vernau

Image
Time for part two! I decided to combine both Vernau eyeshadow and Scribe Precision Ink in this post, because they go well together in real life too :D Let's start with Scribe Precision Ink: White, liquid eyeliner!! What could possibly be more awesome?! I remember few years ago, when I was desperately seeking white liquid liner, and I think the only one that I found was Star Gazer... And their quality isn't the best. But now Illamasqua has one, and I need to search no more :D From outside it's the same as Illamasqua's other Precision Inks I have (Alchemy and Abyss ). The tip of the liner is thin enough to thin line, but sturdy enough to also be precise. I think my swatch pic tell it quite well: And that was written in the back of my hand, so it's not very big: Despite the color, it's really similar to Alchemy and Abyss, though this dries with more matte result then the two others. It applies quite evenly, and it's really bombproof. It mean, it lasts and last...
